About Dom Parsons
Olympic Bronze Medallist
It took me ten years of competing for my country before winning an Olympic medal.
I started in the lowest ranks, on Europa Cup in January 2008, and slowly climbed the ranks through the Inter Continental Cup series to become a regular World Cup athlete for GB in 2013.
I won my first World Cup medal in Calgary in November 2013, and competed in my first Winter Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014.
Since then I’ve been working with Kristan Bromley, a legend of international skeleton racing in past years, to push technological boundaries and my own personal boundaries in the chase for performance. We finally achieved the dream in the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang where I won the bronze medal in the men’s skeleton race.
Now we are looking to the future to see how much further I can develop in the hunt for a gold medal in Beijing at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
